Each year the Orchestra performs free of charge, "Peter and the Wolf" to approximately 10,000 third and fourth graders in the Mesa, Gilbert and Chandler Schools. the Mesa Symphony also provides a "Music Masterpiece" program in the Mesa Schools to approximately 15,000 students each year. Through to use of volunteers, this program, also free to the schools and students, provides the children with education on an upcoming work to be performed by the orchestra. At the end of the presentation, the students are then provided with vouchers that enable everybody in the student's family to attend the Classics concert that the featured work is in , to come to the performances for one dollar per person. these are but a couple of the ways that the Mesa Symphony is committed to our community.
