Under the artistic supervision of Music Director Carl St. Clair, the Pacific Symphony Orchestra's own series at The Center offers a variety of music for very taste and audience, including the great classical masterworks, the world's outstanding soloists, pop concerts headlined by the brightest stars in entertainment, a new chamber music and chamber orchestra series featuring the works of Beethoven, Saturday morning concerts for children and parents and annual holiday performances of Handel's Messiah. Since 1988, the Pacific Symphony Orchestra has offered summer outdoor concerts with pre-concert picnicking and fireworks at Verizon Wireless (formerly Irvine Meadows) Amphitheater. Now the third largest orchestra in California, the Pacific Symphony Orchestra is dedicated to education and community outreach, providing 20 different programs to serve Orange County residents.
