This excellent museum offers an extensive collection of Native American artifacts, some Ice Age fossils, and more than 30 Jurassic dinosaur skeletons. Operated by the University of Utah, the collection makes education entertaining for adults and children alike. Special outreach efforts include curriculum kits for teachers, field trip sponsorships, guided tours and varied natural history courses. Admission is $3 for adults and $1.50 for children and seniors. Museum members and University of Utah students and staff are admitted free.
